I guess I can talk about homesickness-I am from Tartu but I go to school in the U.S. and it is not always easy to be so far away from home. I think having friends is very important in order not to feel homesick. I have also found that having friends from other countries or interacting with other international students is good because we go through similar emotions and we understand when someone says they miss home or certain aspects about their home country. Also, I think it is important to stay in contact with your family and friends at home-Skype is my best friend:). All in all, although it can be difficult to live in another country where you are surrounded by people who have completely different values and beliefs about how the world works, I think it is also very rewarding in terms of the experiences that you can have. I definitely miss Tartu though and cannot wait to visit soon. Where is Michael from - the student from U.S? I am in Michigan. Good luck to all the international students in Tartu.

Re: What Our Facebook Community Likes

This order remains unchanged for a longer time now - nice that we have so many fans from Georgia!

Re: What Our Facebook Community Likes

Tallinn, Tartu, Tbilisi <3 <3 <3

Re: What Our Facebook Community Likes

Queen is the most "Liked" band.
